Blues head to Munster

Cardiff Blues head to Munster tonight, still top of the table despite last weeks disastrous home loss to Leinster. The Blues will have fewer better opportunities to beat the Irish on their home patch, who are without their World Cup players.

Dai Young is without his World Cup flops as well, however does throw Jamie Robinson straight into the side, as he didn't feature much in the group stages.

Jamie's comeback will boost the midfield, although credit must be given to Tal Selley, who's contribution to date has been very good. In that sense, credit must also be given to Young himself, who was widely criticised, myself included, for signing the loan Osprey.

The other World Cup players are left out, including Maama Molitika, who was a late call up to the Tonga Squad that faced England.

The excellent Ritchie Rees comes in for slightly misfiring Jason Spice, then Robinson for Selley being the only other switch in the backs.

The forwards are slightly more changed however, where Bradley Davies makes his first start of the season, as does flanker Scott Morgan, having injured his hand in the friendly match against Gloucester.

So the team reads;
