Christmas Updates

Over the festive season, i'm hoping to have a bit of time to get things done to improve the site. Mainly little things, but if you have any requests heres the place to make them.

I've been really busy with school and work over the last few weeks, so often match reports and news features are a bit delayed. I'm hopeful that i can imporve that after Christmas, but also, i will have some time off in which to get things done that need doing.

I'm not making promices with these, but here's what i'm hoping to do over the festive period.

• Get Squad profiles with pictures and comments. Unfortunately, i doubt there'll be much in terms of stats, but it'll still be a major improvemnt on the current, non-active link!
• Get pictures of the Arms Park, players and maybe even the Vale. I'm hoping to get loads of new exclusive pics for the site and if i can arrange a trip up to see a training session, pictures will be up!
• A poll results page, as you all answer the polls and never seem to hear about how they went or what the general veiw was on the matter.
• A page on the Arms Park and surrounding attractions. Mainly for visitors to the site from other clubs, at the moment they rely on information from you lot on the messageboard, but that should be a thing of the past soon.
• A club history section. Will focus on the 4 and 1/2 years of Blues history, as technically that is the regions history, however there should be some on cardiff RFC also.
• Complete the fixture list on the prediction league.

The changes wont come all at once, but probably in bits. Look out for the chnages and i hope you enjoy them.

At the bottom of this page there is a messageboard space for you to post any requests on what you'd liek to see. Keep it simple as im not that computer literate like some of the admins on Sportnetwork, but by all means post it below and ill give it my best!

Here's the progress report:

• The prediction league fixtures are now all done, except for the kick off times that are yet to be confirmed.
• There is now a fictures and results page. It's not very detailed, but i'll get a better on by next season.
• You can now send free SMS messages from ArmsPark.tk - See 'Free SMS' on the left menu
• The Squad Profiles page is about 11 players into a very big squad. At the moment i'm hoping to finish all the players before publishing it for you all to see, but if it looks like i'm struggling to finish, then i'll just have to put them up incompleted and update as and when i can
• I got a very smart new digital camera from Santa, so i'm hoping to get my own pictures from home games and as many of my own player pics as possible.
• The page on the Arms Park will come shortly, once i've had a chance to take photos, possibly at the N-G Dragons game.
• Just finished Poll Results page, pretty simple, does exactly what is says on the tin.

Keep an eye out for the new features, and keep checking those links on the left.
