Blues Sign Figian?

Reports from Fiji have announced that number 8, Sisa Koyamaibole, has signed for the Cardiff Blues. However, with niether Blues nor RFC offical site reporting the story, or BBC, the story may be pure fabric.

The website claims Sisa has signed to play for the Blues as of next week,

"National rugby 15's number eight Sisa Koyamaibole could be playing alongside former All Blacks great Jonah Lomu for the Cardiff Blues."

If true, the transfer begs questions of our signing policy, with Kort Schubert, Mamma Molitika and Mark Lewis all getting very little game time at 8 behind Powell and Rush.

The report goes on to say,

"He told Village sports that he has been offered a contract by the club but is yet to sign it."

One thing that may be true, is that the number 8 has signed for the Cardiff RFC side, with the Fijian public having no ceoncept of the two sides.

Another explanation may be that he can play lock, this would help Sidoli take some well earned rest, and give us cover for the 6 Nations.
