By road: Exit the M4 at Junction 48, joining the A4138. Approximately 4 miles on you'll come to a set of lights. Go straight on and continue for a quarter of a mile until you reach a large roundabout. At the roundabout head for Carmarthen and Burry Port on the A484 (4th exit) then continue for approximately four miles. Stradey Park is situated to the west of Llanelli town centre and is well signposted from the A484. Plentiful parking is available in the vicinity.

By rail: Long distance visitors will need to change at Swansea for trains to Llanelli. Services run regularly and take around 20 minutes. Bad news. Llanelli station is 2 miles from the ground, so walking is only an option for those with a predilection for strenuous exercise. At a brisk pace the journey can be completed in about 25 minutes. A better option is a taxi - only 5 minutes.

Watering Holes: With Stradey Park being a country mile from Llanelli town centre, drinking in town before the match is not practical. But not to worry. The Welsh are a hospitable lot and, eager to satisfy the thirst of their patrons, they've knocked up a generous array of drinking outlets (11 at the last count) inside the ground. If a traditional boozer is more your style you might want to delay your entry to the ground and sample the rustic charm of the Stradey Arms or the Tafarn y Sospan, both are five minutes walk from the stadium.
