Newport GD put in a powerful performance to beat French Championship leaders Perpignan, Gareth Cooper was in inspired form to keep the pressure on Dwayne Peel.

An injury ravaged Blues side put in their best performance of the season with Robert Sidoli bouncing back to form, some have confidence they will be able to get the W in the return game on Saturday.

The Scarlets won a vital match away in Glasgow and got the bonus point, they went into a big lead and were clinging on at the death.

The Ospreys won their 1st game in the tournament this year with Gavin Henson kicking 24 points, they need to get a result in the return game.
