Rotherham Titans are optimistic that their season will get under way this weekend with the visit of Sedgley Park. Yesterday a small army of willing volunteers descended on Clifton Lane in an attempt to get the ground ready for the weekend.

Rotherham Titans are preparing to face Sedgley Park, providing the takeover of the club is approved by the RFU in time for Saturday's game.

The takeover has still not been completed but all signs point to a positive outcome and it has been confirmed that the game has been pencilled in for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday at Clifton Lane.

The players trained again Monday and further sessions are planned for today. There was a major boost as Samoan flanker Des Tuiavii re-affirmed his commitment to the club.

Bernardo Stortoni also trained Monday along with Rotherham veteran Craig West.

As soon as a full squad list has been finalized then it will be put on this site.
