RUGBY LIONS scrum-half Toby Handley was among the try scorers for the British Police in their 27-26 win over the British Fire Service in Swansea. Handley, of West Midlands Police, was one of four Midlands-based players in the Police squad which included ten English players

Back row pair Ben Cole (Torquay Athletic and Devon & Cornwall Police), the captain, and James Grimes (Richmond and City of London Police) also scored tries - Grimes going over two minutes from time to deny the Fire Service a rare win in the annual fixture.

WARWICK School, the reigning Daily Mail Under-18 Schools Cup holders, will have to wait another week to play their semi-final in this season's competition.

They were due to be in action at Broadstreet tomorrow, but the tie has been delayed as a dispute from an earlier round means that the quarter-final between Wellington College and RGS Newcastle has not yet been played.

Warwick will now face the winers at Banbury next Saturday, March 8.
