Spy in the Camp Waterloo

 

With both the men and the ladies teams travelling to Waterloo on Friday and a coach booked by the Plymouth Albion Travel Club there should be a reasonable contingent at Blundellsands.

The local press tell how Waterloo will have a tough match and will have to pull out the stops to do well in National League One, particularly with their first two home matches being against Albion and Pirates. Report.

Looking on a National League Division One message board the other day supporters are not impressed with the way Waterloo started their pre season matches. The official website has little information on new signings although even now they are expecting to add more forwards to their team but who and when no one knows.

Waterloo have two big advantages over Albion, firstly they will be playing at home although there home crowds are not large, and secondly they are more use to winning, they only lost two league matches last season. Gates at Blundellsands last season averaged at just 501 for their 13 league matches. The biggest gate was their  final match against Henley when they managed 850 but they have been as low as 182 against Barking on 18th March.
