Rally around the second flag

Good news, the funds for the replacement club flag have been raised and it is now being made to order with the intention of it being presented to the club on the occasion of the "Players presentation Dinner" on the 29th, April this month. The appropriate funds having been raised from board members and club members who responded to the call and as a result we can now fly the club flag with pride.
It is the intension to obtain another flag with the club motto and emblem to be flown along side at Brickfields on matchdays to further promote Albion rugby to the wider public, to this end anybody who wishes to help out in this important cause may be able to assist in helping towards a further fund of £250 needed, towards a second flag.
So, a small donation of the price of a couple of pints will make all the difference in this important drive Please don't be shy and either hand your donation behind the bar tommorow in the supporters marquee or in person to either Keith Shepperd, Raph Barkham, Martin Musgrave (in the travell hut) Mike Newham or Tim Mitchell, all of whom will hand in the monies towards this second flag.
Many thanks in advance for your loyal support for "your" club, and I hope you all enjoy the end of term experience tommorow and look forward to sharing further achievements with and our beloved Albion next season.
Don't forget to book your tickets for the Royal Marines 350th. annisversary cellebrations during the summer will you, it's not to be missed.

We have received enough to provide a start towards the second flag which will enable the club to fly the flags at both the main entrance as well as at the club house, to this end we are proposing to order a larger flag than already obtained for the clubhouse end as this new flag at approximately four by three feet looks a tad too small for the flag post when hoisted.
The cost of this second flag although probably six by four feet is only about forty pounds more at about £280, so this is our target and as before we are making opening a collection to buy this second flag, your help would be much appreciated in this attempt to show off the club in the best light on match days.
There will be a photo of the new flag on here in a few days time.

Hi All
For those who are not aware, Keith Shepperd, Ralph & the FAB (Friends At Brickfields) team have commissioned a new Club Flag (as well as working around the ground "Odd Jobbing It).
The flag was paid for from donations from supporters, it is intended to purchase another LARGER flag to fly the club colours at both ends of the Brickfields. For your info Keith raised another £146-05 at todays 200 Club Members & Supporters lunch, making a total of £221-05 towards the estimated cost of £280 for the new larger flag. All donations received are very much appreciated, a fine effort by the FAB team.

It is hoped that as many of the folk that donated towards this second flag (and the first) for that matter will be able to be present for a photo shot to mark the occasion. See you all there.
