Spy in the Camp - Coventry update and team info
March 2 2006
Coventry information updated today (Friday from RFC and local news).
Coventry have now named their squad for who will travel down to Plymouth for Saturdays game. They have included New Zealander Apoua Stewart, previously of Bay of Plenty, at full back who managed one of the two tries at The Stoop last week against Quins.
James Moore is named on the wing and is currently sitting on 198 points for his club this season has been for selected England Counties, our Graham was involved in the selection process and describes James as a utility player. I am sure James will not be looking at travelling back to Coventry with anything less than 200 points.
Dave Millard, born in Fiji and played for Scotland 7s, U18, U19 & U2, is named on the other wing and at 6ft has scored in two of the last three matches.
Head coach Mike Umaga is quick to dismiss last weeks trip to Twickenham as a one-off although he believes that the team have learnt from the game. He is looking forward to an "entertaining fixture" against Albion as they have a "mixed bag" of players.
Coventry are currently suffering with a number of injuries but are playing well winning three matches in a row before Harlequins. The independent press seems to Albion as favourites winning by 9 to 22 points.
