Plans explained of the plans for the future of the club.

Has anyone got £400,000 going spare? If you have then you could have a stand at the soon to become Premier club, Albion, named after you.

At the well attended Sponsors and members presentation on Thursday 9th March the club announced some of it's plans for the future.

The money that was realised from the sale of Beacon Park has now almost gone on the development of the team and the ground and the club is going on paying it's day to day expenses out of the income it is getting from match day takings, sponsors and the not insignificant function revenue.  To move forward it will be looking for extra sources of income to make the stadium ready for the Premiership.  Although no dates were given it was explained that the first stage would be for the centre of a new stand were the current temporary stands are at present. This stand once completed would be our second fully seated stand but initially would be non seated.

Financial Director, Charles Evans said that the club had come a long way since the company was formed in 1999 and that it had moved a long way up the divisions to be sitting 4th in National League 1 and possibly 3rd by the end of the season.  The Company is in place to keep rugby in Plymouth, probably the only city west of Bristol that could sustain a premiership team.  Charles went on to say that the club wanted to raise money and ring fence it for the development of the stadium so that it does not get used to for the general running of the club.

Funding sources will probably come from many sources and Charles said that "everyone can help".

The current new stand is expected to be handed over to the club at the end of this month but the public stand use inspection will probably not have been completed and that the this may take a further 2 weeks.  This puts in question the use of the stand for this season although Wayne Harris, General Manager, is hopeful that it may be ready for Sedgley Park on 22nd April.
