Connacht will be travelling to the far north as the European oddessy comtinues....Next up the Newcastle Falcons of the Guinness Premiership and home to former Connacht player Mike McCarthy.

Connacht have made it into the quarter finals of the European Challenge Cup despite losing to Catania in Sicily. Brive needed to beat Newcastle in France to over take Connacht, but failed to do so.

Connacht now travel to Newcastle to take on the Falcons on 31 March. The game is a Friday evening kick-off and is live on Sky Sports. There's a lot of interest in the game and tickets are selling fast. Visit www.connachtrugby.ie for full ticket details.
