AFTER Connacht's brilliant win against high-flying Llanelli Scarlets in the Sportsground last Saturday, due to a quirky, if not downright unfair, fixture list, Connacht won't have a home game for another two months!

AFTER Connacht's brilliant win against high-flying Llanelli Scarlets in the Sportsground last Saturday, one would think that this would be the ideal platform for the European Challenge Cup quarter-finalists to begin a real push to bring the crowds back to Galway.

Unfortunately, due to a quirky, if not downright unfair, fixture list, Connacht won't have a home game for another two months!

Their Celtic League campaign has been poor thus far but they still have four of their last seven games at home and they play five of the sides in the bottom six of the table.

Best of luck, then, to new marketing executive Fiona Keys, a feisty operator by all accounts, but she sure has her work cut out to inject some life into the moribund province.

For starters, if the province intend to make their rugby days an occasion, they could ensure that burly bouncers don't boot punters off the on-site facilities an hour after the match ended.
