Fine margins are at work in the Gallagher Premiership this season. Apart from the defeat at Sarries we have shown we can compete with any of the fancied sides - we just need to reduce the mistakes and rely on the indvidual brilliance of the likes of Danny Cipriani and Charlie Sharples.

Both were stand-out players in the superb 35-21 against a Wasps side which had brought its big guns back to play.

Charlie Sharples scored twice and he now has eight for the season, with Ben Vellacott and Lewis Ludlow helping to secure the try bonus point.

Charlie was lightning for his first  as he took a great line before racing clear and his second was the most important of the game.

Wasps had got back into it through Elliot Daly and Juan de Jongh only for Charlie to link up with Jason Woodward and they put a massive spanner in Wasps' works.

In the first half Cipriani had shown his magic when his deft kick through gave Ben Vellacott his score.
It's Castres up next at kingsholm . Can't wait.
