Ludlow Celebrates
By New Cherry
December 1 2025

The season starts here. Victory over Quns was essential and achieved in a nervous game with Gloucs eventually full value for the bonus point 25-16 win. Now that primate is off our backs we can look forward to Castres in the Champions Cup .

George Skivington was understandly a happy man at the final whistle ""We would've taken a win at the start but I thought we deserved it at the end.

"Quins came back a few times and we had to fight really hard. The fight, the attitude, the things we talked about behind closed doors I think really shone through"

His team went behind early doors and there were some understandable nerves in The Shed. However, Ben Redshaw scored an excellent individual try to equalise Caden Murley's score.

Alex Dombrandt did restore Quins' lead before Lewis Ludlow got a fitting gift on his 250th appearance. With everyone preparing for oranges a harmless kick was fielded by Rodrigo Isgro who simply punted it to Cameron Anderson who could scarcely believe his luck as he sent in Ludlow.

Gloucs were boosted and made Quins pay in the second half, with another score from Redshaw followed by the bonus point try from Ollie Thorley.
