Why Rugby?

Michelle bumped into a few male and female Harlequin players whilst having a quiet (?!?) drink in The Sun Inn, who persuaded her to try rugby.  She wanted to get fit, so thought she'd give it a go and hasn't looked back since.  Michelle loves playing rugby and wishes she had started years ago.

Other Sports Played:

Skiing (no black runs though!)

Future Aims:

To become a regular 1st XV player and not get injured next pre-season!

Favourite Moment on the Pitch:

Being in the starting line up at The Stoop, and running out on to the hallowed turf!

Other Info:

Michelle was in the army for 6 years where she was a specialist operator (or 'sneaky beaky' as they were nicknamed), plus she did a year with bomb disposal as an ECM operator (Electronic Counter Measures).  Her most remote posting was to the Falkland Isles (nothing but wind, penguins and a women:men ratio of 1:20) and is the only Harlequin Lady to have been in a large chopper Chinnook Helicopter and a Hawk Jet!
