Northampton Saints aim to go one better in 7s.

The Saints send a twelve man squad to Twickenham on Saturday to try and go one step better than they have in the last two seasons to reach the final, and then of course to win the Middlesex Charity Sevens 2002.

The squad, skippered by Nick Beal, has returned early from the Saints tour of France where a team plays Belge-Bordeaux in La Teste Da Buch tonight (Friday).

The team blends the experience of Nick, Jonny Sleights and Jorgy with some up and coming stars like James Brooks and Robbie Morris while a rake of the new young guns make up the remainder.

The Saints will be hoping to win there first Middlesex Sevens after reaching the semi final stage in the last couple of years after losing in the last minute to Wasps in the final in 1993.
