Afternoon everybody,
A very busy day yesterday and a bloomin' cold one. The back pitches are very soft so I ended up standing in a bog for a couple hours shooting the under 15's - congratulations to Kettering for the win.
Thank goodness we were shooting in daylight and I could get the 80-400mm going again. I had just sat down from shooting the teams running out and who should appear in front of me but a rampaging Digger. I only just managed to focus the camera and there was no chance of me picking up the other camera for the short stuff for his celebration hence the rather jaunty angles!
I thought Mark Easter and Roger Wilson were outstanding. Myler was assured and it was great to see Joe Ansbro running with ball in hand. Bruce was his usual self - it was an honour to take photos of him leading the team out. In the end it was a solid performance from Saints and I can't wait for the semi-final.
A word for Dave Pearson - many thanks for taking the time to tell the photographers which way the teams are playing. It's really helpful to know in advance where to go especially if you don't have a reason to be on the pitch as the teams run out.
Anyway on to my favorites...
The rest of the photos can be found 'ere....
See you for the Falcons match next week!

Great, great photos - especially the one of Digger trying to look really mean and nasty!

Two sets of great photos
...I tend to spend my Sundays browsing everyones efforts!
I normally take a lot (kind of a bad habit) on my tiny little smasung, but I tend to keep them to myself since I don't usually get many of the actual game - and it shows off my player preferences
I decided to try uploading a few to flickr this week (EEK!), so, here goes:

So, hey, I'm Dylan Hartley and I'm confrontational.
