Packed Ricoh Arena expected for Gloucester Christmas cracker
December 20 2017
With ticket sales now past the 26,000 mark, supporters are encouraged to purchase as soon as possible for Saturday's Aviva Premiership clash with Gloucester (3pm kick off).
Head of ticketing Scott Paul has also issued a few reminders to fans of both clubs in the run-up to what promises to be a memorable occasion both on and off the field.
"Our last posting day for Gloucester tickets is tomorrow, Wednesday December 20," he said.
"Alternatively, fans can pop in to the ticket office at the Ricoh in person - we're open between 9am and 6pm all week and from 10am on Saturday.
"It's also possible to purchase online using the print-at-home option. Tickets are then delivered directly to your inbox as a PDF, and just need printing off.
"We are expecting to be extremely busy on match day, so we are really encouraging fans to purchase and collect prior beforehand if possible.
"We'll obviously have a full team working, but despite this the more tickets that are collected beforehand the better, to reduce the chances of anyone missing kick-off because they're queuing up."
The crowd for the Christmas weekend clash between the Premiership's third and fifth-placed teams has already eclipsed the biggest gate seen at the Ricoh this season, when 22,148 watched Dai Young's team beat Leicester in a thrilling finish.
The West Stand is sold out, a few seats remain in the East Stand and availability is limited in the North Stand.
The South Stand is also selling well, with only a handful of £20 tickets left.
EXTRA CHRISTMAS ENTERTAINMENT
In addition to the high octane rugby on the pitch, there will be a Festive Fan Village in the Ericsson Indoor Arena, featuring reindeer, festive food and a snow play area for kids, as well as a fireworks display for the whole family to enjoy after the game.
In addition to the normal live band, bars and Wasps Interactive Zone, supporters will be entertained by Christmas carol singers, while keeping warm inside the Wasps Nest Fan Village.

Maybe expect the same this week, but because of the high attendance? So the concourse could be very congested pre kick off - a bummer for anyone with restricted mobility, but will add to the general "buzz" (no pun intended, even though a work colleague asked me if Wasps have a bee team)
Great - look forward to the friendly and knowledgeable banter that we have grown to expect from Gloucester supporters.
