I would have started with Beck at 6 with Stedman coming on as an impact player in the second half. Otherwise the squad looks good on paper.

I'd be having nightmares about facing that back 3.

It's just a matter of getting the ball to 'em!

If Ealing kick away possession those 3 will run it back at them with interest.

Positively balmy then. Looking forward to a pleasant evening, and a top performance from the team.
I don't go along with the theory it is necessarily an advantage to be playing the second leg at home on the basis, 'you know what you have to do'. Not much use if you've lost the first leg by 20 points!
I'm hopeful we can win tonight, but at worst, I'd take a narrow defeat by less than one score.

COME ON LEEDS.
We've been through it all together.

Its a strong side, one of the strongest we've put out this year. Lets hope they play to their potential.

Weatherlooks Ok in old homestead...but no divided loyalties? Strong team! Need strong mindset to go with it...no waking up half way through game thinking we can do a rescue job at Headingly! Need to go there and turn the screw and pile up the points til it hurt. Lets play some ruthless rugby...beat Ealing by an unassailable 20 points and set down a marker for Irish! Give a shout from me...will be watching on Sky Day Pass @6.99.

Come On Ye Tykes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Soaked up 20 MINS of pressure then took control. Pack on top. Boyce Stedman and Buzz prominent. 3 tries to 0.As JDH says we need to pole it on. Great opportunity to finish them tonight.

Have you ever heard anybody as biased as Sanderson on the TV commentary and post match comments? Just accept that we beat them fair and square mate. Thought that was a very good performance from us apart from the scrum which needs some work before next week. Sorry I couldn't be there due to work but looking forward to next week. Well done lads, we're on the way up!!!

I managed to find it playing in a pub at the 4th attempt! Had no sound though. They don't have the finest pundits.

Well played Leeds.
Trouble in the set piece at the scrum.
Strangest decision of the night , replacing Alex Davies who I thought had a cracker of a game.

Not sure if it was mentioned in the commentary but Joe Ford's (unemployed) Dad was at the match. The last time I saw him was at Nottingham, where Joe also played out of his skin.

We need Ford Senior next Friday!

Next DoR?

Hope so Almo, although I doubt we could afford him.

Glad you managed to give your captors the slip!

Don't worry wing commander we'll catch up with him . Even if we have to deploy drones and satellite technology. Which reminds me . It's come to our attention that RAF trickery has been used to gauge the attendance figures . Not in the sprint of the competition y'know. It's just for fun (Sm116)

sent off carried off never backed off

P'raps not. He was at the home match v Pirates and we know how awful Joe was that day. So much we wanted George to replace him at half time. Given we'd been found out about the swap from the fact our outside half improved by 5000% percent it was a good idea.

Yep I warned them that you would pull strings and get a crack SAS unit to release me. Then they let me go.
