Hendre Fourie - never flinched, gave 100% every game

Already mentioned mark Reagen.
Thought he was only coming for the money boy was I wrong. Really missed him in the pack.
Dan Scarborough was another at the same time I loved watching play.

So many good players, and characters in many senses of the word. Not named so far but who could forget Diego Albanese, who really cared about supporters and always had everyone guessing including himself, and home grown we had men like Tom Palmer and Kieran Myall, Rob Rawlinson.

Colin Stephens was an important player in the early days. I used to enjoy watching Craig Emmerson flying up the wing.

Hard to look past Shelley and Rawly as club men but for me the best player in our best period was Snyman.

Good thread this.

I don't go back as far as you guys, my first game being the 'million pound game' in 2010. So a lot of the guys already mentioned are before my time.

I did see Hendre Fourie play though and also Erik Lund, Kearnan Myall and Marco Wentzel

Steve Thompson was still a great player when turning out for us.

I missed out on the Premiership years - saw some matches but didn't really understand what was going on. Quite obviously a lot of people still think I do not know what is going on but for me the star performer in the Green Years and sooner has to be Ryan Burrows.
And in terms of excitement, watching Dave Doherty in full flight, or Kirsty at his best was what made me pay the entrance fee.

Those names bring back some great memories!

Braam, Lund, big Isaac, synman, harder, Mather, dickson, hooper, biggs, Alfie, Mike mac, gomez.... plus lots more.

The first squad we had in the prem gave everything every game. You couldn't help but wanna see them play every week.

For me fourie is my favourite. He was a machine and always smiling. He could turn the game by himself in what was sometimes a struggling side.

Classiest in my time definitely Lozowski. Just a pity we didn't see more if him. Also liked McColl at his best too

Speaking of the first premiership squad it was when Tom Biggs emerged from the frozen food factory to terrorise amongst others Leicester. He was a joy to watch, and like Care and Clarke we lost him too soon.

Very hard to pick just one.

14 Scabbsy
13 Rabeni
12 Braam
11 Biggs
10 Goggsy
9 Dicko
8 Burrows
7 Fourie
6 Mather
5 Hooper
4 Lund
3 Kerr
2 Regan
1 Shelley

Another very good and mobile prop not mentioned yet is Rayno Gerber. Occasionally did his own impression of a top winger.

And letís not forget Mark Luffman. Sure his opponents havenít.

Who were we playing when gomez broke about 20m out and trampled over the fb to score? No side step required....

Players like Lozowski, Holmes, Lucock and Burrows were fantastic players for us, but I guess you have to take into account that they were playing in the Championship

Take your point, Leeming, but a bit unfair on Lozzer who has cut the mustard at the highest levels since being with us in his student days at Leeds.
