Some of the older posters may recall Jim Collard, who unfortunately died yesterday.

Jim,who captained Durham and played for the Ba Bas,was a feature down at Kirkstall in the 70's/80's,was perhaps best known as the Master in charge of Rugby at Leeds Grammar School (GSAL),where together with Mike Lamb, produced numerous England Schoolboy players, who went on to play for both Headingley and Roundhay. Perhaps the best known were David Caplan and Ian Ritchie, the current Chairman of the RFU. Jim subsequently became President of Yorks RFU.

Further information is available on the Leos and School sites.
