Good for you getting Borthwick in. He is a very good coach and will hopefully get you back on track. I still don't think Promoting Murphy again for failure will serve you well in the long run. If its essential he stays at the club then the Board would have been more sensible.

Great to have this announced and to have Borthwick on board as I think he Is a good coach but it’s still vague as mud as to when he starts with us. Will be interesting to see what changes to the coaching team he makes

I guess that depends on what a DOR remit is.
Would people say that Humprheys is above Ackermann at Gloucester? or both level but deal with different matters?

"and will join Tigers at the end of his international commitments." So still vague on when he will come.

But its not quite so critical now is it?

So we presume that the new buyers of the club agree with this, or there is no new buyers anytime soon ? But which is it ?

Why is there an advert below the article promoting real midlands rugby for Tigers v FACOV.
Surely real midlands rugby would be Tigers v Coventry or Nottingham.
Now are rid of the cheats we just need to get rid of the Franchise next season.

Well yes an no. Despite being safe from relegation it would still be good to see a big improvement
during this season, after he arrives, rather than crossing our fingers to see if he really is the messiah and has an impact at the start of next season.

Just like the 'lesser spotted' offloads which have recently made a little bit of a comeback is this a rare sighting of the 'lesser spotted club plan' that's been missing from our particular habitat for so long?
I do hope so.

I have no idea whether it will work, but it is what Leinster did - 'promoted' Cullen to DoR and brought in Lancaster as head coach.

Not particularly - there was a lot of discontent amongst Leinster fans for not improving things a huge amount (relatively speaking at all times) from Matt O'Connor. Despite being a club stalwart, many wanted him gone.

I mean, it's all relative. Leinster had fallen from top dogs in Europe and uncontested Pro14 champions. We have fallen from also-rans to relegation fodder.

This is good news and congratulate the club for securing him and rewarding Geordie for taking on the poisoned chalice after MO'C. IMHO this is a significant and positive move towards rebuilding to success again and starting to clarify the roles and responsibilities in the team management and coaching structure. .
