What Rich said.

But some of us having being saying similar for a few years now. If us simple folk can see it, how come the suits on loads of money can't? The suits with vested "old school" interest still have far too much say and influence. The International part of our sport, very important though it is, must consider the day to day club sport which provides them with the players they need to enjoy their gin soaked outings.

And whilst cricket has reinvented itself in part with the Twenty Twenty stuff, you only have to look at what central contracts did to the cricket county game. Not good imvho.

Hopefully CVC can raise some new "marketing cash" for our sport and enough to make the game self supporting. This will make the sugar daddies less of a must for the survival of the Prem.

As for Sarries? I'm not that bothered whether they go bust and re-form at the bottom like Richmond did. It might just be what is needed tbh. It's the constant denials from everyone connected with the club in the recent past which really has stuck in my throat. Owners, management of all types within the club and players all must have known or suspected what was really going on. Even some supporters did if they were really honest with themselves. The true supporters (rather than the big match fans) will stick with the club, fezs and all, and enjoy the climb from the bottom over the next decade to create a fresh and untainted entity.
