Please don't start me off about grammar.

Very petty. Someone at Exeter will get a b00locking for doing this. They will probably try to avoid any more bad publicity by offering those who were turned away a fee hospitality package at the next home game.

If they listen they'll hear the sound of galloping horses through the open stable door - they'll probably think it's the cavalry though.

The Chiefs fans aren't happy either.

Apparently the club have refused to comment on it...as far as PR goes, that's effectively condoning the actions.

The referee is the final arbitrary

I hope Chiefs and Rugby supporters will be similarly outraged that Flybe staff have likely lost their pensions as Flybe is registered in the tax haven of the Isle of Man and therefore not subject to the pension protection provisions of EU & UK regulations.

So they commented on it on the morning of the first working day afterwards then? Seems fair enough to me.

Match days aren't working days for sports clubs?

Except they did comment on a non working day - yesterday and their comment was "No Comment"

Yes but by the time the story had broken on Twitter and been picked up in the media I would imagine the match was long over and people had gone home. Plus once the story broke you would expect some form of internal investigation before a statement wouldn't you?

But at the end of the day Exeter have made a statement and explained their decision and offered some form of compensation but it doesn't really matter. Those that want to bash Exeter will continue to do so and those that want to defend them at all costs will do the same.

The vast majority I suspect will read the statement and think it could have been handled a little better but that it's a non-story hyped up by the media who to feed a readership that love to think the worst without bothering with the facts.

Now I have zero time for the BBC but when they posted their story they were "the facts". The Exeter press office saying "no comment" made them so at that time. Once they got around to actually making the comment then they became the new facts.
