I thought that tonight's was even more scripted than usual.
I did notice when talking about media leaks that they said that not all of it was true, implying some, if not much, of it was true.

Clearly they've been taking lessons from Dear Leader, Dominic Cummings.

All club stuff is largely scripted it goes for any in house interview for any company in the world.
Scripted isn't necessarily a bad thing.

" I did notice when talking about media leaks that they said that not all of it was true, implying some, if not much, of it was true."

Well obviously a large chunk is true the CEO admitted someone was leaking info to the press.

Thought on the whole it was still a interesting listen.
Taufua bit was interesting and it does make sense giving him extra time due to only just getting into the country.
I don't think the club would be willing to make themselves look more stupid by not saying he was going if he was 100% off. Not 100% sure I believe he is keen on staying although the Telegraph did say he was interested in seeing out his contract. Maybe waiting to see if this Pro D2 club isn't all talk before signing? I just personally don't see what the club would have to gain to infer that there is a chance Taufua might stay if he isn't.

I thought it was entertaining and as informative as they can realistically make it. Some fans demand impossible revelations re salaries and certainties where outcomes are fluid.

After a @#$%& year personally, politically, pandemically and Tigers-wise I am tired of cynicism and negativity. Tigers have been my distraction though all kinds of rubbish for forty years. I need that again.

I have decided to believe the hype. We are are ground zero of Tigers V2.0. I shall concentrate on what we have, not what we dont.

I for one welcome our new ex Saracens overlord smiling smiley

I wish I could see things that positively, Bob. I'm envious!

I've often found in life that it ain't worth stressing and getting yourself all wound up by things which you have no control over. Took a few years to master though.

The best example is perhaps flying. No point in stressing whether you're going to crash and die once you've stepped inside the plane as you've got no control or influence over what will happen next. You've got to place your trust in others. Lots of them from the pilots and air traffic controllers to the baggage handlers and maintenance engineers plus many others too.

For me the clarity that the five players have been stood down, told not to come to training

That to me mrans they are still on pay so there cannot be much room for new sigings yet

Jordan, in quarantine, is an unknown till next week

Rod Taylor imminent .. next week new bodies to be announced

The referee is the final arbitrary
.. dementiaaahll!

Geordie said 15 new signings will be announced next week, I guess a lot will be re-signings and he said rumour is 2 of the stood downs are off to France, interesting listening.

I have no issue with scripted media, actually shows a degree of professionalism in communication. We just need to understand that there will be a club angle to everything which is absolutely right. As long as we get no lies or falsehoods Iíll take it in the same way as I read the Merc. Incidentally I presume the only merc person who can write about rugby is on furlough. Given there has been no Tigers update for ages.

I think Paul Jones is still furloughed at present. He is the rugby specialist
My column has continued at twice per week.
I'm not sure that mine gets online because they know it sells the physical paper. (Definite winky smiley required here!)

I am with Purebob here. Let's start concentrating on what we have and where we are going, we can talk about what had gone wrong the last 4 years or so for ever and not come to any agreement, we must press the restart button and give Smurf/Borthick a chance
