Govt. talking about only allowing rugby to restart if they scrap the scrums. Which would, of course, destroy a basic aspect of the game

What is the point of scrapping Scrums unless Rucks and Mauls are also scrapped? Usual half baked uninformed tripe from our government. Play it as sevens without those elements?

It's the Sports Minister talking about "recreational" rugby, saying there may have to be changes for the time being if it is to restart soon. Not "elite" rugby.

I saw it on an online quote where he refers to recreational rugby not being able to start - maybe it was a more complete quote?
