Womenís Super Series

As ever the BBC is showing its usual apathy towards womens rugby.

There is no mention of the times of the fixtures not even the games until a day after when a few lines stumble onto the website.

Having trawled around I found that the crunch match against New Zealand black ferns is at 21.00 today. Maybe sometime next week we will know what happened.

Aunties coverage and attention to rugby is lamentable as they are consumed with Association Football and which of the precious elite has broken a fingernail, had a new tattoo or had his hair dyed.

And for this they intend to take a license fee off those that they were lauding as heroic veterans of the war. Our service heroes did not lose to Germany on penalties!

Itís had as much coverage as the tournament warrants. No one is watching it. There are more players and coaching staff attending matches than supporters. There is a reason for that.
