London Irish supporter here in peace - I hope the 'family reasons' are something pleasant, like an imminent birth, rather than something unpleasant like a serious illness in the family...

Cheers!

He's missing the Wales match now too, what's up? As there's unlikely to be an Italy match hope he's back for us soon

Still in Tonga apparently, hopefully nothing too bad but for him to be away for this I would imagine it's not great

Yup, just seen this on Twitter:
England's Mako Vunipola is self isolating at home after flying back via Hong Kong from Tonga. He is showing no symptoms of coronavirus but the England management are taking every precaution. His Six Nations campaign would appear to be over.

Looks to be that Mako trained with us this week and will probably play against Tigers. He was sent away by England but has no symptoms so Sarries are happy to play him

Genius by Sarries, a quick cough at the breakdown and bosh, easy turnover! (Sm100)

I feel sorry for Tigers. This means that they will be without Genge while we will be fielding a Lion.

How can this be fair?

It makes a mockery of the Premiership...

... oh, PRL had already done that!

Or put another way.......Rugby administratores making up their own rules as they go along. Sounds vaguely familiar.

3 into 2 doesn't go, sack Mako which made Mr Jones's conundrum easier to deal with. 2 people who'd been in camp together with the bulk of the squad - happy families!
