Best of luck to him after securing a permanent contract having returned to Quins on loan from us.

His story of being effectively dropped from Quins, asking the coaches if he could train at Saracens and then securing a contract and eventually returning to Quins seems a good rugby one to me and shows again the quality and commitment of the coaching staff at Saracens in addition to the players own commitment.

Good luck to him.

Thanks to Saracens for bringing Joe back to the necessary pace. Like most Quins hookers then and now, he was prone to injury and a business decision, presumably due to the timings of contracts, was made to release him rather than one of the other equally injury prone hookers. He was well-liked by the Quins supporters and we're happy to have him back.

He did well for us, a pretty steady pair of hands to bring on towards the end of a big game

Yep, a great club player to have about - I'm happy he has another opportunity.

Good professional, did a sound job when he played and I wish him well at Quins.
