Dom Morris on the wing and no Ali Crossdale? Must be injured.

Does anyone know what has happened to Wiggy?

Lets hope he's simply not being risked. Sounds like Mako still struggling with his back.

I really like the look of that team and the majority of them have played one or two games together so there should be a decenbt level of understanding. Sale away will be a big challenge but I'm looking forward to seeing how they do.

Good to see SuperDunc. Fingers crossed for him.

He's only just arrived from Doncaster Knights, as injury cover. My spies haven't been to Donny recently!

Not impressed by the first half. Amongst many other problems our front row is getting mullered.

Itís not a bad performance at all as Sale side is much more experienced and massive pack of South Africans
Getting sick of seeing Diamondís ugly mug and gloating

Definitely better in the second half. It was all worth it just too see Dom Morris's Exocet tackle just as the clock went red.

A resilient second half performance to deny Sale a BP and gain a losing BP with a great touch line conversion by young Manu. Great hit from Dom Morris led to a second Segun try. Wiped the smile of Steve Diamonds pís face!

I had some hopes for our young props with a strong engine room behind but they got taught a hard lesson today. On the plus side they denied Sale the TBP. Whiteley another great tackle on the wing and he and Vunipola both looked decent.
Segun and Morris both very good with both making important defensive reads. Taylor surely can't be part of the Leinster plans? just too soon.

Does anyone else get what the gameplan was. I understood why we have not opted for points and practiced our maul in other games but why did we do it here? wouldn't a close game a moral boosting win have been more beneficial for the rotation team, so why not take the points? Bemused.

Much better in the second half., well done to keep playing until the end and significantly improve the defence. Good lineouts throughout. The main disappointment for me was poor skill execution throughout, the "Storm" side create scores in a quite different way to our main group, much less power - more continuity and offloads and it just didn't work at all tonight. If ibuanokpe could play for more than 20 minutes a game he'd be a hell of a player.

Have to say the first half looked men against boys, but the boys stood up massively in the 2nd half. Was very impressed with Refell throughout. Both Callums did well and the overall resilience to get a point bodes well.

I was really worried after 20 minutes but we grew into the battle. Very pleasing to see Woolfie hit his jumper every time, his throwing has improved massively. Would rather have seen Hooley at 15 and Elliot O on the wing.
Manu pretty good throughout and CHH getting better by the game.
It looked like weíd cloned Alex Clarey already when Hislop came on!

The Bard that's an excellent point about Woolstencroft. He has obviously been working hard and has been very accurate.

That it ended up so close makes spurning all those kicks at goal all the stranger though.

Some of the players we are seeing now, who might not be considered 1st string usually, are massively benefiting from the experience of playing in the Premiership.

After a bit of physical pounding in the first 40, we massively improved in the second half and all credit to the players and coaches. Not sure what they tweaked or changed but it definitely worked.
