Let's hope the weather stays fine enough to allow a Somerset win.

The skill in selecting for the future is in watching the technique, in the case of opening batsmen I thought Denly (although older) looked good.

That is why I rate Sibley over Pope, the former is happy to take a look to see what the ball is doing before opening his shoulders.

As if to prove a point, Sibley's recent scores 215 not out and 109.

P.S. Sorry about Surrey's collapse. (Sm54)

Not just a win but maximum batting and bowling points necessary aren't they?

But when he does open his shoulders its pretty spectacular 135 not out today........Denly and Sibley have both proved themselves as well.
What can you say about Ben Stokes though, surely he will surpass Botham abd Flintoff with his exploits!

A great opportunity for England, hope the weather doesn't intervene.

With Rabada banned for the 4th test we have a good chance there as well.

Not about today so much, but I would like to see slightly more attacking fields by Root at times and a bit more flight from the spinners, maybe that will happen in the 2nd innings.

Pope was excellent yesterday, great all round batting.

Rain in the Southern Hemisphere is not necessarily a bad thing!
