Congratulations to all of those selected.

Squad members:

Tom Dunn (Bath Rugby)
Charlie Ewels (Bath Rugby)
Beno Obano (Bath Rugby)
Will Stuart (Bath Rugby)
Sam Underhill (Bath Rugby)
Jonathan Joseph (Bath Rugby)

Leaves us without an entire front row. Add JC and AW injuries and England certainly is having its pound of flesh.

Great for Beno. Really so pleased for him.†

From a Bath perspective, I presume that this 33 man†squad†will be cut on Thursday to 25, so the likes of Beno, Dunn and Ewels might be back†in time for Saturday.†

Can't help thinking Beno's line breaking Kyle Sinkler impersonation on Saturday caught Eddies eye!

Find a gap and run through it, or at least make the gap a little wider.

Its highly likely to be Marler / Genge at LHPorp and George / LCD at Hooker isn't it? If so just hope they aren't travelling subs. On the plus side, Quins are down to bare bones too, including front row. I wonder who would be Baths 4th choice LHP, Vaughan or Paz?

Guess that could be complicated by the weird season long loan for paz (not that i have a clue how it all works!)?

Chuffed for beno- was fantastic before his injury and worked incredibly hard after to surpass that level

Paz?

Hopefully not Noguera, get Vaughan involved.

Seeing the Bath game is on Saturday and England are playing Sunday isnít it unlikely that Bath will have any of the squad players back?

Well done Beno. Please do not let England and Mr Jones break you. Also tell EJ you have a family matter you must attend on Saturday if you are holding tackle bags only.

The squad before the Sunday match v France was cut to 25 on Thursday. Canít see why itíd be any difference this week.

Congrats to Beno, richly deserved.

Personally I think he is ahead of Marler. Either way he wonít be released.

Who are the extra 2 that they keep though? Most likely front-rowers? Plus - were the next cab off the rank to actually play on the Saturday, that would render them useless for an emergency/morning-of-the-match call up. Think we may have to resign ourselves to losing Obano and Dunn. Real shame, because Quins are there for the taking, and a 5-pointer would be massive for us.

It looks like we might lose Beno, as before Scotland and France EJ retained 3 loose heads and 2 tight, perhaps thinking Marler could play both in an emergency. But he only seems to retain 2 hookers (LCJ and George), so Dunn should be back.

Boyce, Dunn, Judge, McNally, Ewels, Ellis, Louw, Mercer is still a very decent pack and - hopefully, given their unfortunate injury situation - should grind out some dominance against Quins

'should grind out some dominance against Quins'

Yep - another home game, and a blinding opportunity for 5 points, that will be treated like an away game.

Well deserved. Beno's physical ferocity is a reliable feature for us these days.

Ant not retained either, it seems. I wonder if that's so he can have a run out for us in order to check / prove his fitness?
