What an astronomically terrible decision.

+1

+ scapegoat? =
+ very weak weasly management?

No doubt he is a pain, disruptive, often offensive and tricky to manage but still the best player England have had. What a safe boring lot they are! No doubt they would have sacked Boycott, Beefy, Flintoff in their time - let alone Cowdrey (before your time of course. (Sm14)

KP......the most self-centred, egotistical, disruptive and selfish sportsman who ever represented England. He would not have passed "go" in the All Blacks philosophy of life. Having met Richie McCaw and others, I can vouch for their approach which does not allow people like this to become role models to young, impressionable children and adolescents. I have coached in Somerset since 1978 at senior level and would stress the fact that players with big egos destroy the spiritual fabric of clubs. KP has caused trouble in every team he has played in. Don't even go down the line of suggesting that these terrorists should be "managed"!!
I can think of one or two Bath players who took the club into the mire, but were reasonably good technical players. The present organisation is now free of these players.

However talented he is, I'm surprised it's taken him this long to get fired. He shouldn't have been allowed back after the texts about Strauss. He wouldn't have lasted long in rugby.
