I would like to see mainly A Team players but realism probably means game time and prep for Wasps/Bath will take priority.

I'd be happy with that team.

press note injuries
so no Carey
Injuries
Ryan Mills suffered a bruised foot against Saracens. It’s not as bad as we initially feared.
Conor Carey ruptured an Achilles tendon at Saracens.
Sam Lewis suffered a suspected fractured cheekbone at Saracens.
Callum Black is going to see a specialist about a foot problem.
Duncan Weir has had dental work done but his jaw is still painful.
Nick Schonert has trained today and he may be required to be on the bench on Saturday because we are running short of tightheads.
Cornell du Preez is coming on well and he should be fit to face Castres next week.
Perry Humphreys took a knock to the ankle but he should be fine against Castres.

That looks quite a long lay-off for Carey can we get Rinkaman back?

How about a run out at full back for Nanai?
I definitely want to see more of Van Breda, Lawrence, Shilly and Kitto.
If Venter is fit, how about him and Lawrence in the centres....but where to play Shilly and Van Breda?
choices, choices...

I like that team. I think we could see Palframan start at tighthead with Nick on the bench. Other than that then that’s the team I’d like to see too.

We have all this talent coming through, at what point are we going to see a proper shift away from our under performing 1st team and let the lads play? The past 3 games I've almost thought we would have been better off playing the full Cavs team. They're exciting to watch, inventive and passionate. All things that the 1st team are not.... And I can't really see us being in a worse league position for it.

Threepear,
Except the level of the opposition is a bit different with the Cavs.
I think that on the whole the first team pack have been decent this year - set pieces are holding their own, defence and tackling strong.
The backs have been a bit lacklustre recently - lacking creativity and failing to create line breaks for the speed merchants. Is that completely down to individuals or down to tactics and coaching?
I do think Scott VB, Shilly and Kitto deserve a go - and Lawrence has shown so much potential in the past he should also be figuring more frequently.

I just wonder if Lawrence is not pushing on in training and if he is "no better" in training than Beck and Mills then he doesn't get selected. Its not just about what happens on match day he has to show massive work rate and development in training that's part of the selection process.
I can remember Keastie not selecting senior players because the shied away from training saying they did not need to train all the time!!!
You don't work for it, you don't get picked.

I'd be inclined to agree with you on the forwards front, the combo of Du Preez, Hill and Lewis has been mega, Moulds has also looked good, as has kitch. I do think Kai Owen needs a run out though.
The backs have been wholesale rubbish this season. Nanai looks lost on the wing, Pennell is clumsy and slow, Weir can kick but he isn't generating go forward. Hougard is out of sorts and needs benching in place of Kitto. Mills is playing woefully, kicking away every ball he gets his hands on.
A rare light this season has been Beck, the man has played out of his skin. Lawrence - when fit - looks lethal every time he gets the ball and I'd be happy to see him or Venter alongside Beck. Couple that with a Kitto/Lance half back pairing and we might start seeing some line breaks.
Shilly has earned the 15 shirt and needs to be starting and I reckon Fidow could do with a run of games.
