Rhys Carre Returns

With Rhys Carre returning, that makes 3 quality forward signings which include Cory Hill and Sam Moore.
Our starting strongest forward line up would be
1 Carre 2 Dacey 3 Lewis 4 Hill 5 Davies 6 Navidi 7 Jenkins 8 Moore.
A very decent looking pack that would hopefully give a decent platform that the backs deserve. Would love an additional signing at second row. Ratti and Thornton are solid plus Teddy Williams coming through looks promising. An extra lump in the boiler room is needed. Shame we missed out on signing the colossus
RG Snyman who went to Munster. Someone of his ilk would be most welcomed. What’s everyone’s thoughts? And can anyone see any further recruitment?

We were in for Snyman apparently but Munster offered more moolah.

We wanted to sign another second row but covid may well have put paid to that for the time being.

Really delighted that Carre is coming back. We've got a good group of looseheads now. Like you i just wish we could add a few more forwards.

Interesting, Franco van der Merwe has been let go by London Irish...

At 37 years old not really an ideal signing. He was too old for us 3 years ago when he was meant to sign.
Dafydd Buckland a Welsh under 20 scrum half has signed to our academy from the Dragons. One for the future maybe.
Callum Bradbury is worth giving a shot at regional level. He played particularly well for Cardiff RFC last year. Might need to bulk up a bit but worth giving a chance. With Teddy Williams coming through the ranks aswelll, we may have enough cover at second row.

Callum Bradbury hasn't been given a regional contract and as signed for Merthyr RFC.

That’s a shame. He looked really good for Cardiff last year!
