I think it is an issue we had in National One. Its been a bumpy ride since then....but for me still our biggest weakness.

Still amazed by Cov supporters' continuing gloom about how awful things have gone since arriving in the Championship two Septembers back. Just how bumpy has the ride been, really? 9 wins and a draw last season, resulting in 8th place and 51pts - the best-ever performance by a promoted side in the decade since the Championship was formed; and this season the win ratio up to 50% in 8 games, plus a draw, and 5th place, with a general acceptance that Cov are part of the 'chasing pack' behind Newcastle at the top end of the table. And yet many people on here seem to view the glass as half-empty...

Come on, we've been here before... This is a forum for discussing all things Cov which includes team performances. 'Bumpy ride' is hardly an incendiary accusation and a 50% win ratio pretty much relates to glass half full. If you think everything is perfect in terms of team performances that's fine but people are just discussing what's going wrong as well as right and things are pretty much in the balance.
Those who saw the Ampthill and Ealing games are obviously going to dissect the performances and then probably come on and extol the team when we thrash London Scottish winking smiley

Those who listened to last nights Rugby Show on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire will have heard Rowland speaking about a number of areas. It is of course available on talkback for 7 days.
I felt it appropriate to ask what the plans are for Dan Lewis, currently on loan with Moseley, particularly in the light of developments this week.
Rowland responded that Dan is being monitored closely re his league performances at full back for Moseley, mindful of the fact that for Cov each of his appearances so far have been in the Cup.
It will be an interesting one to watch over the next weeks.
