Championship Cup knock out stages

By my reckoning on the rankings and that you can't play a team in your group in the quarters I think our run in is, with all our matches (including the final) being at KP:

Quarter: London Scottish
Semi: Pirates/Coventry
Final: Ealing/Doncaster/Nottingham/Jersey

Do we know what weekends the ties are?

I thought we had ampthill but I missed the bonus point for Donny which places them 8th. Therefore Matts path looks correct

If we keep winning then the semi is definitely at home, and in theory the final is at home, although the regulations contain a very strange provision that the RFU can still move the final venue to a ground of their choice (criteria or reasons for moving it aren't specified).

It's fair to say this isn't the most straightforward tournament I've ever worked in, and I'm putting it mildly.

Getting the quarter-final line-up finalised and announced today was akin to a Laurel & Hardy film.

Do we know who we play the winner of in the semis or is it a draw?

In theory, by my best deductions, it should be the winner of the Pirates v Cov game, but I've really given up taking anything as fact in this competition.

If Jersey and Doncaster both win their quarter-finals they're due to play against each other in the semis, but aren't allowed to because they were in the same group, so the draw would need to be 'adjusted' again.

Is that true for the Semis as well as the Quarters?

I don't see how it can be as theoretically you could have 3 from the same group in the Semis?

That's a fair point. OK, I officially give up trying to work out what's happening in this tournament. Answers on a postcard!

In theory we play the winner of Cov v Pirates. That's my best guess, although I stand to be corrected.

Haha fair enough.

Do we know when the Semi/Final would be? Even if we don't know where it'll be?

Itís impressive that the RFU has managed to create a more confusing tournament than the mess of the LV/Tinpot/Insert generic sponsor Cup (the great tournament where for some strange reason you didnít play the teams in your group...)
