Tigers match gale force thread

Long journey over and arrived at ground to find it in lockdown!
Bit ominous. Security guys saying ground not open until 2pm so weirdly wondering around with no sign of a match
KO delayed 15 mins and seems not weather connected as mild wind and no rain here
Feeling something is up ....

Thanks David. In ground now but is 45min to KO and no Wasps apart from Gopps in sight. Very odd

Just spoke to Lol and asked about Dai. Said we should hear something tomorrow or Monday. Interesting watching YY in warm up. I feel a player who will follow his father

Interesting.

YY standing down or heading in to coaching, after his playing days are up?!

Is it on? Getting a bit blowy now, here in Hertfordshire.

Well done Kent and Matt. More from you 2 so far on this thread than the whole of Wasps comms dept for the season. Get your CV's in.

Judging by the pre match interviews Dai is gone for good, which is sad IMO. Anyway we go on, still a Wasps fan despite what's gone on this week.

Come on Wasps!

My god it is windy and wet. Wasps defence great. Wind whistling through the Holland and Barrett stand. So far so good and we have the wind second half

Come on Wasps!

Asked Craig Doyle after his intro and sounds like Dai given the boot

If we can hold up in the scrum second half we stand a good chance of winning, but can we?

Sad news about Dai.

Wasps had a decent first half playing into a swirly wind.

Putting Hardwick under a lot of pressure. Tigers scrum is looking on top.

I’ve everything crossed that we can hold on. I would take a 6-3 win.

Good first 15 mins but Jacob is having a shocker - what’s Eddie done to him?

Hopefully the break will help him readjust but we’re hanging on well despite our penalty count. Played most of the last 25 mins in our own half.

Would rather have Umaga than Hardwick!
Well played Wasps. Keep it up. Poster on Tiggers site was confident of a five pointer.... I voiced my opinion!

Sitting in Tigers STH area everyone so cold no one seems alive. We are so much in this match. Lovely cameo pre match as Guy Thompson was speaking in the bar . Gave him a cheeky thumbs up and he grinned from the stage and reciprocated

So regardless of who's in charge we still don't know how to play against teams when they're a man down. Granted the conditions are horrendous but we haven't punished Leicester's sin binning.

Take it back about if our scrum can hold up, now it's our line out defence.!

This game is only going one way at the moment. Our basics are letting us down, especially at the line out.

Garbage defence from the maul. We’ve been worked out and can only hope we find away back in somehow or we’ll be mauled to death.

Tigers are hammering us at each maul. Try. Not sure why . Getting colder and windier. Wasps just need a break. We have huge firepower in the backs and wind assistance
