Our record at the Stoop is also one of of our best for 'away' matches (Glos Final 2006 excepted....(Sm18))

Some hilarious responses to this on the Quins board (not Sportnetwork, the new one). Before my time but clearly the scars of being outdone at their own ground are still fresh for some of their supporters.

You would probably look better not looking to criticise those offering to help you out.

It's a bit confusing, they're moaning about our former tenancy but the only reasons for that moaning that anyone has outlined so far is that we had better marketing and a general matchday experience than them..?

Is there a provisional date for when the new stadium will be ready to play in?

Looks like quite a real chance that Brentford FC will get promoted to the prem this season. Their fans won't like us tearing up their pitch! Anyone know if the pitch is part synthetic to give it some protection? I think the mad stad's might have been.

If you google brentford new ground it reports surface as synthetic with grass seed mix, so I assume much the same as the Mad Stad.

We aren't allowed to play in it before Brentford, so that's probably the biggest delaying factor.

They aren't like Quins fans worried we're going to have more fun than them, are they?

Let me assure you that to have been a fan of The Bees ,you needed to have a very well developed science of humour. this is a team that spent circa 40 years in division 3 and the new ground has been coming for about 30. They more than deserve to kick it off.
