Car parking

Several car parks near to the stadium have been secured, with one other car park very close to being agreed. London Irish and Brentford FC are enlisting the services of a specialist company, EST, to manage the car parking facilities for the stadium.

Parking will be available to purchase on a match-by-match or seasonal basis. The match day costs will be £20 for Lionel Road Primary School and Strand on the Green School, and £15 for all other car parks. Please note, London Irish do not set the match day parking prices and take no profit from them.

London Irish have taken the decision to subsidise the cost of parking for Season Ticket holders who wish to purchase a seasonal parking permit, saving you up to £120.

Details of the car parks available and the seasonal costs can be found below:

Primary car parks:

Lionel Road Primary School, 150 spaces, 8 minute walk - £200
Strand on the Green School, 150 spaces, 7 minute walk - £200
Chiswick Park, 750 spaces, 14 minute walk (please note this is a large site so there may be an additional short walk to your car) - £160

Reserve car parks:

West Thames College, 300 spaces, 20 minutes including a bus ride - £160
Isleworth Town School, 250 spaces, 25 minutes including a bus ride - £160
St Mary's School, 150 spaces, 30 minutes including a bus ride - £160

Parking (both match day and seasonal) will be available to purchase directly through EST. This is not yet live, however, London Irish will begin a reservation process this week so that supporters can guarantee themselves a seasonal parking space.

Reserving a space is free, but you are committing to purchasing. If you reserve a space, you will be contacted by EST in the coming weeks in order to make payment. Parking will be managed using an automatic number plate recognition system, but you will be able to add multiple number plates to your account online if you plan to use a different car or lend somebody else your spot.

Reservations will go live at 7pm on Thursday 30 July. Spaces are limited in each car park and reservations will be made on a first come first served basis. You will be able to reserve your parking space through this Eventbrite page.

Supporters who have purchased an accessible Season Ticket will be contacted separately with regard to disabled parking.

Please note, although you can view the Eventbrite page now, you will only be able to reserve your space from 7pm on Thursday 30 July.

Park & Ride

London Irish intend to run a Park & Ride service from Mereoak Park & Ride in Reading to the Brentford Community Stadium (dropping off at Capital Interchange Way) on match days.

Subject to demand, additional stops can be added at the following locations:
Reading Station
Basingstoke
Slough
Hazelwood

Other locations can be added where there is sufficient demand.

Park & Ride can be booked on a match-by-match or seasonal basis. The cost will be subject to numbers and routes, but we are anticipating the prices to be close to:

Reading to Brentford:
£15 per person return, one-off
£192 per person return, for the season (£12 per game)

Hazelwood to Brentford:
£12 per person return, one-off
£160 per person return, for the season (£10 per game)

In order for the club to gauge a better understanding of the demand and, subsequently, a clearer idea of the price of putting on a Park & Ride service, please complete the form linked below to let us know if you are interested in using the Park & Ride service and if so, where you would want to travel from. By completing this form, you are not committing to anything.

Thanks for the post. I guess as we are not currently planning to take up ST's (due to travel uncertaincies) LI have not seen fit to send this to us\\; therefore we can't help with the survey. From what they describe; we will definitely give the Mereoak P&R a go.

Even with the very welcome subsidy for season ticket holders these prices are rather steep and if you get stuck with one of the parks needing a bus ride, I would be thinking of parking further out west for nothing and using the trusty oyster card. Bit much that if you want to reserve a space you are committed to purchasing, when you may well not get the park you applied for.

I would try the park and ride. I'm probably not going to get a season ticket but haven't made a final decision.

My preference would be Reading Station but Mereoak is possible also.

I prefer Reading because I can walk to it and would have to walk to the station to get the bus to Mereoak.

I get the impression that EST will bill us, and ask for car reg no. for plate recognition for access. More than one no. allowed if you have more than one car, or want to let someone elae use it on occasions.

Pub The Coach & Horses on Kew Green is a Young's House and does a good meal.
there is also a nice pub almost next door to Kew Bridge Station.

The Express Tavern is the closest to the ground and has good beer and a great garden, but I haven't been there for a year or so, so not sure how social distancing has affected them.

O' Riordan's pub on Brentford High St is only a 10 min walk from the ground. I had a good time there last year watching the All-Ireland football final and the Guinness was excellent as you would expect given the name of the place.

looked up on google as good Guinness is always hard to find. seems closed and saw this A second planning application has been submitted to knock down O'Riordans pub on Brentford High Street and replace it with a 3-storey block of four flats after the initial planning application (P/2019/2873) was refused permission this January
