The ref isnt the problem.

Heís not the whole problem but his decisions so far have been questionable on a number of occasions!

it certainly doesn't help when they can do what they like with impunity and we get pinged for every indiscretion.

really unsure what the Tom Wood yellow was for.. it was either Gibson or it was all ok. looked ok to me

Wood!

Wood isn't the tackler and is on his feet. Gibson gives away the penalty if anyone does.

I wonder what Leinster fans make of things bearing in mind that Saints are clear leaders of the Premiership ?

Wood looked as if he was ok from behind but Gibson looked to still be holding on but the referee insisted he told wood to release.

We've conceded 8 pens already with our captain giving away 3. Majority of them are consistent with most refs. Few 50-50s against us but you always get that away.

We can't beat top teams with the amount of mistakes were making and defensive issues present so any complaining about the ref is moot imo.

I agree but the ref must have told him to leave it!

nothing as this team aren't the leaders of the Pro 14, their 2nd string are

Notwithstanding Saints mistakes and errors, we also have a young referee intimidated by the occasion and as we have seen many times before he is giving pretty much everything to the dominant side rather than judging each situation on its own merits. Fact of life with Pro14 referees apart from Owens.

Bit of passion in defence at least , canít stand the Leinster this , Leinster that

Coltnet, only posts when Saints lose

For everyone else:-

Reinach
Franks
Franks
Lawes
Moon
Hutchison
Furbank
Mitchell
Collins
Harrison (captain)
Fish
Marshall
Collins
Francis
Ribbans

No one else think this is embarrassing? We seem to deal in feast and famine. We win and win quite well or we take an absolute hiding. When we play against a top team* we repeatedly come unstuck with the basics

Some serious errors in defence that just put us under unnecessary pressure
Loose forward are miss firing
Whatever the outcome letís hope we learn and build for the future
Off to the pub

one sided refs help create momentum with penalties and resulting field position. we are 2nd best by some distance but it does make a difference.

we want consistency that's all

I assume people who want to see the basics done well regardless of the side put out which Boyd has managed to do very well since he joined.

Love Biggar's edge, need more of it.

Good try from sleights and keeps us a little in the game. With this 15 picked we were unlikely to be on top in Dublin but if we can get a point or two out of this then that is a result, just no injuries please!

If you lose collisions everything else unravels

Good response from Saints at the end and we've been good in attack despite discipline and defence but Leinster have been fantastic again. Hoping for four tries - that would be a good outcome and make a big difference to our chances.
