Right people I need your help and - I know this will come as a shock to the likes of Yorkie and Johns - I want your money.eye popping smiley

Some of you will have been lucky enough to have known my beloved Andrea - if only through this Message Board - and some of you have the ongoing misfortune of knowing me. I was luckier than anyone. Anyway - a friend and I have started a little programme of fundraising events - probably mostly stupid - in Andrea's name to - well - raise funds for some things that would be important to her. Hopefully it will grow into something a bit bigger...

The main causes that we'd like to raise money for are Cancer Research - for obvious reasons and for a couple of New Zealand conservation causes that were close to her heart; Kiwis for Kiwi and the NZ Govt Kakapo Recovery programme. Andrea's love of all things New Zealand was pretty powerful and having spent a fair proportion of our happiest times in Aotearoa I'd like to give something back.

There should be a number of events - starting in a couple of weeks with a sponsored head shave (for those of you who know me you'll know what a thing that's going to be for me) and continuing through the year with an attempt on the 3 Peaks Challenge and then some other, as yet undeveloped, acts of folly.

You can find the details of what we're doing in our Facebook group here (I don't really do Facebook so it's all a bit new to me) and on our JustGiving page here.

I'll be updating these from time to time - please do keep an eye on them.

I'm hoping to get some support from Tigers as well - but more of that in time.

Please give as much or as little as you like - I will really appreciate any contribution anyone might wish to make - no matter how big or small.

Thanks,

Rich.
