E gland the Aftermath

English fans celebrate after the Guinness Six Nations match at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin.

Now that the dust has settled on a woeful England performance apart from the last game when they finally turned up.  What can one say?

Many are calling for Borthwick's head and so was I about a week ago!   However, I am now wondering could this be the wake up lesson of defeat that many of these cocky young England players need.

I remember the Golden era of England rugby prior to 22nd November 2003 a similar defeat in Paris, that did no harm to the team other than instilling in them the pain of the loss. And  that team went on to win the RWC.

I dislike the cockiness of certain young players. There is no need for it.  They would be far better off letting their rugby do the talking but I suppose wisdom comes with age,

So what next for England?  A re-group learn from their mistakes etc., etc., we fans have heard it all before and yet we still support them.

This is truly what it is like to be a rugby union fan. Come on England sort yourselves out

Right who's round is it make mine a Guinness.
