Goodbye to Europe

Toulouse showed us what is required to be successful in Europe with a totally deserved 35-14 victory which ended our hopes of being one of the best three runners-up.

That honour went to Sarries who ike Toulouse have the spine of the team also featuring for their national side.

Against odds like that we gave it a great shot with Louis Rees-Zammitt continuing his amazing start to his career by giving us a 7-0 lead.

Unfortunately, he wasn't on the pitch for much longer, and was in obvious distress when he was helped off with an ankle injury. Let's hope it's nothing too serious and  he can illuminate the Six Nations wth his talents.

Jason Woodward also crossed in the first half to make it 21-14 at the break, but we had no answer in the second as powerr and skill from the hosts took them to a bonus point victory.
