Trio of U21s in 6 Nations action this weekend

A trio of Bristol Shoguns U21s will see Six Nations action this weekend. Will Kershaw-Naylor gets his first start for Wales whilst two of his U21 team mates make the starting line up for England.

Will gets his first start for Wales U21s when they take on their Scottish counterparts at Inverness tomorrow afternoon.

He’s been in fine try scoring form for the Shoguns’ U21s this season and he was rewarded with a call up to the Wales Sevens squad in the autumn.

His regular wing partner in the Shoguns’ U21 team, James Bailey, also received good news this week when he was named on the right wing in the England U21 team to face Italy at Newbury, kick off 7:30pm.

He has also been in try scoring form and has shone on the occasions that he has represented the Shoguns’ United team.

Paul Hodgson has been named as vice captain and he’ll be delighted to return to the starting lineup having started the last two games on the bench.

The selection of the trio caps a fine week for the Bristol Academy following a 35-0 win over Leeds U21s last weekend and some fine performances from the lads who took part in the United victory over Wasps on Tuesday evening.
