The first one of the summer....

Leeds Rugby have proved this week that no news sometimes can be good news, when much to the relief of the fans, they confirmed the first signing of the summer - Diego Albanese.

What is there to say about this news that hasn't been said already?

The Glaws fans do not appear to have a bad word to say about Diego's attitude and performance - on or off the pitch. By all accounts he works hard and still has time for the fans. He is regarded not only as a fantastic player but also a top bloke. What higher accolade could any player ask for? After all if the Shed love you, you must be doing something right.

We might not be as vocal, or as numerous as The Shed yet but I'm sure we can make him feel just as welcome at Headingley!

Just think about next season... Diego on one wing Danny on the other... I don't know about the rest of you but I can't wait!

And as for other new players, its all rumour and who knows what will happen next... but in the meantime while we speculate here's a picture of My Cat....
