Tries for every man jack of the three quarter line powered Leeds into the semi-final of the European Shield. Tries too for Rawly, Murph, Uys and Hoops showed that the forwards were'nt to be upstaged

"The players were extremely professional today and did everything that was asked of them. It was great to see a number of things we have worked on over the last couple of weeks come off. We played with real fluency. The performance, as much as the result, will have given the players a real boost for the upcoming games", said Phil Davies, talking to www.ercrugby.com.

Andre Snyman's try seems to have been the pick of the bunch, with a 50m sprint to the line following a miss-move from Gordon Ross.

There now follows something of a wait while ERC - the organising body - decides what to do next, after Leonessa's Friday night match with Worcester was abandoned due to fog.
