It was a good weekend for Sarries' European Challenge Cup opponents from Scotland, France and Italy, all of whom regiesterd impressive wins.

19 points from outside half Dan Parks helped Glasgow to their first win in the Magners League at Hughenden as they defeated reigning European Champions Munster 24-13, with other points coming from a try by former London Wasps wing Thom Evans.
Glasgow now lie in ninth place in the table on five points from their three games.

The Cardiff Blues await the Warriors at the Arms Park on Friday night in round 4, a game you can see live on BBC2W (Sky channel 991). Coverage starts and 6.30pm and Kick-off is at 6.40pm.

Narbonne picked up their second win and a first try bonus point as they ran in five to defeat Castres 39-17. RCNM raced into a 26-10 half time lead following tries from wing Julien Candelon (in the first minute), two from Tongand Flanker Lei Tomiki and had secured their bonus point as early as the 18th minute when prop Arnaud Martinez touched down.

Candelon scored try number five 10 minutes from time and he took his personal tally to 24 points by converting four of the tries and kicking two second half penalties.

Narbonne have also climbed one place in the table and are now out of the relegation zone in 12th place after six round of Top 14 2006-07, and their next game is on Saturday night away at ASM Clermont Aurvergne.

GRAN Parma travelled to Sicily to take on Amatori Catania and left the island with four points after a close 20-17 win. GRAN's points scorers were flanker Roberto Mandelli, wing Carl Manu (tries), and fullback Rima Wakarua who converted both and kicked two penalties - the second of which won the match in the second minute of injury time.

GRAN now (at time of writing on Sunday morning) stand third in Super 10, one of three teams with two wins from their opening two games, but they are likely to be overtaken by either city rivals Overmach or Viadana who play one another later in the day. Next up at Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi will be league leaders Calvisano on Sunday night in Sky Italia's live game.
