Gunners no more!

There was a home win for Narbonne but Glasgow fail to score a try for the second game in succession at Murrayfield and GrAN Parma also lose away in the Super 10.

Saturday night's match at Parc des Sports et de l'Amitié was an opportunity for Narbonne to put some distance between themselves and the Top 14 relegation zone as they took on Bayonne, one of just two sides below them in the table as the game kicked off.

Full back Nicolas Nadau scored the only try of the game as RCNM beat the Basque side 25-12 with fly half Cedric Rosalen converting and adding six penalties.

Narbonne still sit in 12th place, but have moved six points clear of Brive in 13th and have the same number of points, 17, as Albi and Montpellier. Bayonne slip to the foot of the table on eight points.

Next up for RCNM is a daunting trip to Stade Ernest Wallon to take on third-placed Stade Toulousain.

Glasgow Warriors played their first all-Scottish Mangers League game on Friday night at Muarryfield against the newly-rebranded Edinburgh Rugby and went down 14-9 in controversial circumstances.

Two penalties from replacement fly half Dan Parks and a drop goal from starting no10 Colin Gregor made up the Glasgow total as Edinburgh fullback Hugo Southwell scored the only try of the match, in spite of appearing to lose the ball before touching down and that proved to be the difference between the two sides.

The Warriors are still struggling at the wrong end of the table and now stand in 10th, just one place off the bottom with just one win and six points from their opening five games. Hughenden on Friday night will see the Warriors back in action in a second all-Scottish game as they welcome bottom side Border Reivers.

Over in Italy GrAn Parma travelled to take on Petrarca Padova featuring former Saracen Nicky Little and left Padua with just one bonus point after losing 26-19.

Full back Rima Wakarua was on target again with four penalty goals and the conversion of wing Massimo Ravazzolo's second half try. The losing bonus point picked up means that GrAN are now sixth in the Super 10 table on 8 points after four rounds. There is no Super 10 action this coming weekend so the nex game at Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi will be on 14 October when Arix Viadana are the visitors.
